Sept 20-21, 2014 – Los Angeles, Calif.

The first ever double-header weekend for Red Bull Global Rallycross took place at the Port of Los Angeles. “Being my home race, this was particularly exciting for me,’” said Geoff Sykes, “I have a large Southern Californian fan base and they all wanted to come out and see me race!”

Sykes placed second in one of the heat races, with a close joker pass on Tyler Benson to take the position. A thrilling attempt for a pass on the last turn of the last lap in another heat race, nearly gave Geoff another winning pass on Benson.

“The crew did an awesome job this weekend,” said Geoff. “Every time something broke, it would lead to further damage. We were pushing the limits of the car, the jump especially was very hard on us and ultimately broke a suspension bolt in the finals, taking us out for good. Still, it was a great time for the fans and we look forward to coming back here!”
